yes it is, i think its a bad idea imo, if u ever get into a car accident your head could get sliced off since hood's cut through glass like cake!

You could also use skateboard thingers. The things that go on the trucks. The rubber things, I obviously forget what they are called. I too think it looks like **** and is completely pointless. But then again I think anything with "JDM" in it is pointless.

Because the cars don't have to pass safety inspections or anything like that. Hoods are made to lie flat. That way the latches/bolts seal completely at the junction point. Go get in a head-on collision. See how fast you meet your hood.
