There is a small reflector on the outside of the usdm lights, the jdm ones do not have this reflector. If you don't know what you're looking for then its easy to miss. The lights on the tailgate are the same (jdm/usdm) if we're talking about a hatch. Hope that helps.

Not having a reflector doesn't mean it's inferior. It's still of the exact same quality. Some people like the look of this better. Also, the 92-95 hatchback tail lights have smoked reverse lights, so half-n-half tails are a rather popular modification on 92-95 hatches.
I'd much rather have EDM tail lights with the integrated rear foglight.
Not having a reflector doesn't mean it's inferior. It's still of the exact same quality. Some people like the look of this better. Also, the 92-95 hatchback tail lights have smoked reverse lights, so half-n-half tails are a rather popular modification on 92-95 hatches.

no the tailgate lights are a bit tinted.........you can tell the difference...the EDM with the rear fog look like the USDM lights.

Not really. It's a large square reflector where there isn't supposed to be one.
