Jdm Sir2 starter???
Can anybody tell me where is the starter located on the jdm b16 obd1? I think my motor didn't come with a starter... Is it hidden or is it suppose to be hanging on the block like the alternator is?
Also, is there a such thing as you could buy a jdm b16a obd1 long block for under 700? Just want to know if its possible as someone told me this...

Re: Jdm Sir2 starter??? (civiclizeEg)
I'm going to guess you've got a manual trani
In which case, it's a big round thing, with a slightly smaller round thing, bolted onto the top of the trani, right below the thermostat housing. If you didn't have a starter, you (looking from the trani side at the engine) would see the flywheel through the whole where it should be.
I'm not sure about an automatic. haven't seen one before.
