Re: JDM SiR Cluster (KOALA YUMMIES)
what year is it? I have an ek sir one and I changed out all the bulbs out for new ones and it works fine. I'm not sure about the srs light. I always thought it would still work since the light is only there for when theres a problem in the srs system. If you wanna run I would drull out one of the spots for the bulb and stick it in there.

and use the black face from your dx cluster
there should be a light bulb that is missing or burnt on the speedo around the 130km mark where you say its dim, just replace them all.

It's going to be dim no matter what...That's just how they are in US Civics.
I wouldn't remove the clear plastic unless you can swap over the whole face including the black surrounds. The clear plastic is melted into the face, and removing it usually breaks something.
I'd try plastic polish.
As far as the airbags, I heard it doesn't work but don't have a solid answer for you.

Erm, actually thats how they are full stop. The SiR cluster is dim even in my jdm eg6... A dimmer control can sort that out, but for me it hasn't been worth the hassle.

Re: JDM SiR Cluster (EG6-SiR)
when i replaced my bulbs i used standard 194/168 bulbs for the larger ones and left the small ones alone. so its brighter than normal. post pics of dim ones. i want to see how dim they are compared to mine.

No I swaped the USDM SRS light/plug assembly, the WHOLE thing switches over and its stand-alone from the rest of the cluster. I thought you knew what I was talking about...</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yeah, I was just bored and messing with you...I forgot to add one of those stupid faces like this:

Re: JDM SiR Cluster (KOALA YUMMIES)
Well, after looking for the proper bulbs a million times...I realized I had like 4 extra clusters in my closet, so I stole the bulbs from there...And yes, I did run into overheating and burning out really quick.
I actually broke down and bought some new ones from Honda because I was desperate.
