This sucks that I have to ask for help installing a rear seat but I have no choice. Anyway, i just bought a front an rear seat set out of a 96 sir. The rear seats are the ones with the headrests. I took my old seats out and then saw that the sir seats dont mount back in the same way. They dont have the threaded holes to bolt the side brackets back on. Instead they have rods coming out of the sides that wont work. They will fit in fine, but they will sit loose and that would not be safe. Any help from someone who has done this would be great. I searched and only found eg or ek9 seat topics.

Do you mean to remove the fabric and reinstall on my old seat backs?

Ok I looked at the post. Sorry. Thanks for the info. The only thing I still see that wont work is that the rear headrest sits down in part of the metal frame that wont come off just by switching the fabric. The main reason for buying the seats was for the headrests to help complete my conversion. Thanks for the info.
