Default JDM Rear Disc Brakes??

I am getting some Coilover kits from my brother off his EG Civic 4 DOOR from hong kong
the rear coilover for JDM EG is not a "fork" type, which I need the LCA also, right?
will his EG civic 4 door LCA work in my 93 civic EX coupe??
coz I remember somebody bought some TEIN here, and posted to ask, and according to inlinefour.com, we need JDM LCA, i just want to make sure which LCA from which JDM car

Also, coz in hong kong, their civics have 4 disc brake, will the rear trailing arm and everything fit my car?? i know those are HEAVY, and i don't think i will get those from hong kong, but if it's free, i might be interested for just paying the shipping.

And, coz this wrecked civic has upgraded to bigger rotor disc at the front, do you think these will fit my car??

I just want to make sure the JDM civic is the same as our USDM civic, thanks !

TIA !!

The brakes will fit and you need the lca from an integra type r, doesnt matter if its jdm or usdm. But if you want to run the TEIN, then you need those lcas.

oh man.. i need the type R LCA??

sucks... and it has to be integra too, right??

so that means the JDM civic LCA won't bolt on to ours... ??

need to add something

i am not running teins, it's another brand, and it's running on their JDM civic right now
and their rear shocks does not use a fork like ours, so i need another LCA

so that means their LCA should be the same as integra type r??

If the rear is a non-fork type, then most likely you will need the lca from an integra type r. You can use the lca on the four door if its the one you need for your particular damper.

let me make this clear
coz my damper is a non fork type, i need an LCA that will fit the non-fork type, right?
and that's why i need the type r's

but coz the dampers are USING on the JDM EG now, that means the LCA he has is for non-fork type, right?? that means i can use that LCA

but my question is will this LCA fit my car??

thanks Jedi

All 92-95 civic lcas are interchangeble, and you can also use 94-01 integra rear lcas as well.

Let me clarify for you:

You need the rear LCA with an eye socket. The JDM EG Civics and JDM Integras all have this. The USDM Integras and Civics do NOT have this except for the Integra Type R. All are compatible for shock absorber fitment but the Type R ones are of a better design (especially the JDM 98 spec)

i think he can run crx ones too
ONLY the 88 CRX Si rear LCA's can be used. But even on a EG/EH/EJ whatever you call these 92-95 civics these days you need to run 97-00 Type R rear LCA's. The 88 CRX Si ones are too short.
