JDM R 4-1 on B18C in CRX
Hey Guys,
i'm helping a friend of mine build a tricked out 88 crx. So far we've gotta 95 GSR motor purchased and sitting in the garage. We wanna throw in a JDM R 4-1 but were worried about clearance issues...
Will it hang too low? anyone run this set up?
TIA

yes you will have some clearance problems
if your still hooked on the 4-1s i advise not lowering your car,, or fabricating a skidplate, my freind had to do that. otherwise youll flatspot or ding your header really bad, one of my other freinds learned the hardway

making a skidpad? will that really help if your going to bang the header the skidpad is going to be a little bit lower and then that will hit the header wouldn't it?
i'm going to run that header for a while but my car isn't that low so i'm not scared and it's not my daily driver

welp...
if you do it right, you will allow some gap between the skidplate and header,, plus your plate BETTER be secured to the chassis in such a way that it wont bend, flex,or smack into the header, see i have a welder,, life is good
rather grind off the skidplate versus the header
