A parking pole is a waste of money, looks ridiculous, is unsightly, and makes you seem like your a retarded blind person that doesn't know how to drive. Did you try searching for the answer first? Try clubcivic.com, jdmcivic.com and here.

How is it different than the 6G installation? I can't imagine it would be that different.

It sits on the far front corner of the car to help the driver park the car in tight parking spots.

Right, they are sold primarily in Japan (both OEM and aftermarket). I'm not sure why a person would think there would never be an instance in the US that this could be used.

Probably cuz they are just as useless here as they are in Japan. If you actually NEED that pole, stop driving. If youre buyin it just for looks, stop driving.

I could use that parking pole. I'm about 5'4 and the only part of the front of my car I can see while driving is the very edge of the rear of the hood. I also can't judge distance very well, especially when I don't have anything to compare to.

And they're OEM in Japan because parking there is incredibly tight.

I think it's a stupid and close minded view that they're useless to everyone and that if you need one you need to stop driving.

They look pretty ******* tacky IMO. If you need to see behind you, install one of those cool mini cams in the rear license plate area with a monitor so you can see what's going on back there.

I thought we were talking about the front parking poles (the factory ones) for the most part.

The next person who posts something just to flame rather than an actual helpful reply will have the post deleted and points docked.

i dont know why it was necessary to bash, maybe for the thrill and ****. even though I may not need it, it would be a nice vanity item to have for the finishing touch on my hatch. its all on preference anyways isnt this what the whole car scene is all about. for the rice heads i give'em dap..lol... plus for the heads that dont know honda, it gives it a tad more cool/awesome/luxurious with these add ons.

To the OP> Do you have the bracket that came with the pole? I can tell you how to mount it but you need the bracket.
