jdm one piece del sol headlight questions
just recieved some jdm del sol one piece headlights and have two questions about them. is it safe to run hids since the lense are plastic? and also how do i hook up the daytime ranning lights on the headlights

Jdm lights dont have the constant illuminated sidemarkers like usdm, hence the city lights. You would wire the parking light from the turn signal (12v with parking lights on). You can use the ground wire that goes from the usdm side as the ground. The sidemarkers will use the other line from the usdm sidemarkers(12v intermittent when signal on).

Also it will daze other drivers and makes it unsafe for others. But if you want to sport some lights that could be dangerous to other people just to look cool, please don't get behind me at night.

12k has got to produce the least light output of them all.
And I agree, do you want to risk your JDM lights to a cheap HID kit?

Just becuase you think you think they look good and work well that does not make them legal.
5 bucks says my halogen lights put my on the ground in the correct spot.
The higher K you go, the LESS light output there is.
