HM means the motor is from h-motor right? Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, just tell that guy to go to hell and who really care if it's a JDM GSR or USDN GSR, they are the same motor anyway....

Well we've established the fact that its a JDM block/engine.

Next question:

Who cares?

If the guy is too stupid to know that a B18C is a JDM engine how could he even know what the difference is anyways? Besides it's a whopping .6 bump in CR for the JDM engine. Yip.

JDM GS-R = B18C; USDM GS-R = B18C1. so you're right, he's wrong.

Hey guys I know Im new here but Im not new too Hondas just created my account here. But There is no such thing as a JDM GS-R the GS-R was sold exclusively as a USDM model. The GS-R as you all know is B18C1.....the USDM Type-R is B18C5....your motor is B18C ....you my friend have a JDM Type-R motor wich is a better motor than the gsr so you win again : ) .....sorry dude had to clear that up.

No, there are very definately JDM GS-R engines, may have come from an SiR-G but its still a JDM GS-R engine, with the same GS-R manifold as the USDM GS-Rs have.

There is a jdm b18C -GSR and a B18c Type R. They are stamped the same. There are some differences to tell them apart.

Dude wtf? If i'm wrong I'm wrong I just never heard of 2 engines from completely different years like the SiR II and a type-r around 99 to retain the same engine code. Simple mistake relax. Its still JDM which was what he wanted to know

they were for the most part produced during the same years.
JDM GS-R/SiR-G - '94 - '01
JDM ITR - '96 - '01

I know you're new here, so just take this as friendly advice:

Please do not post information as fact like you did when you are not certain.

I know you "thought" you were certain, but a simple google search or even using H-T's search engine would have yielded plenty of info on JDM B18C engines in both the 180ps (SiR-G/GS-R) guise and the 200ps ITR guise.
