Deschlong,
I had seriously considered a cruise control upgrade, but my wife and I just had a baby a month ago...I'm lucky I was even able to finish this project. If I bust out a project like a cruise-control upgrade now, I may as well start looking for an apartment. Maybe someday tho.
Oh, and to answer your question about how I wired the lamp up, I'm embarrassed to say that I did not wire it up to the C556 connector...I did it the easy way and plugged it into the accessories area on the front of the fuse panel. I hope to fix that later. I did wire the back up properly so that the light comes on when the hatch opens though.

If all you're missing is that bracket, you're lucky. All you need is a sheet of steel bent into a modified "U" shape. Like this:
__
| |
_| |_
The little tabs on the bottom should have 2 or 3 holes in them...that's where you'll tack weld them to the car. The top flat part of the U will have holes in it (2, I think) to bolt down the T-brace. Make the holes big enough to allow for adjustment of the T-brace and you'll be good to go.
Any fabricator could turn out one in minutes. You just need the measurements (which I don't have, but I suspect someone out there has one they can measure). The critical measurement to have is the height of the bracket. GL,

Well, cr@p, my sorry attempt at ascii art isn't working right. Here's my sorry attempt at a drawing that hopefully illustrates what I'm talking about:

Whatever works...as long as your passengers won't go flying backwards when you step on the gas, you're good.

Thanks Arthas,
I'll probably keep the head unit stock, but maybe put a power amp in the car and get better speakers to replace the paper speakers. But my engine swap is being installed in 2 weeks, so that will have to wait.
BTW, I replaced the leather-wrapped steering wheel with a JDM ITR wheel w/SRS. Even got the SRS and horn working!
Mrharmonic, so you welded the side seat brackets to the frame? Woah, I guess you won't be pulling those seats out anytime soon.

LOL...I see. Someone on the board actually had their EG w/JDM rear conversion stolen. They recovered the car and the dumb@ss thieves left the interior alone. Go figure. :/

Ey what did you do to the needles in your cluster? Is that like a jdm cluster or what? Cuz looks freaken sick. And how much you get that leather wrapped steering wheel for?

It's just a USDM SI cluster. I painted the needles w/orange marker paint. Takes a really good fine tipped brush (eg, Windsor & Newton) and a steady hand. The original leather-wrapped wheel I bought for $150 off of H-T. I've actually got it up on eBay right now (search for "leather eg civic wheel" an you'll see it).

Just pulled it out and swapped the bulbs for orange bulbs. There's a DIY on H-T here somewhere.
