JDM folding power mirrors on a civic with manually adjustable mirrors?
Hey, i have a few questions about the installation of the JDM power folding mirrors. I know that it is possible to install them on a civic that came stock with power mirrors, But what about installing the power folding mirrors on a civic that came stock with manually adjustable mirrors.
Also, does anyone have a wiring diagram that will work with any EK civic.
Thanks, Thomas

i think you'd need to get the wiring harness from a 96-00 ex to get the power plugs that connect to the mirrors to the switch on the lower dash panel by the sunroof switch [if you have one]

Well, if you've got an EK, go to my cous' site and become a member...
http://ClubEK.net
In there, try to talk to my homeboy, jayswift. He's also a moderator there. He's done them for the EK's as well as on his own EK. He's doen the power window conversion as well. And I think that both the wiring for power windows/locks ties in with the wiring for the power mirrors. Just talk to him.
Also, try to check out the Flash Intro I did in 3-hrs, lol.

I actually just did something similar to this. I have a 93 civic hatch CX and of course it didnt come with power anything. I bought a 92-95 power mirror switch with a bit of the harness clipped off (about 5 inches of wire).
The thing is, I actually have fitted 96-2000 power mirrors on my car (I liked the look better). I got the 92-95 wiring diagrams from Haltom Hatch thanks! I found some 97 power mirror diagrams via searching google.
After a bit of trial and error I got the wiring down. Im sure it would have been easier if I used the correct year mirrors but this is what I wanted to do. Im just happy with my 96-2000 mirrors on my 93 hatch.
Mike!
