Ok here is my question i was wondering if anyone has ever looked at the jdm ek9 wing compared to the ebay ek9 wing to see if there is any difference? some people say they are the same but some say the ebay ones looks kind of generic compare to a real jdm wing. a jdm one run around 300-400 bucks which i dont have laying around for a wing and the ebay one is a little over 100 bucks. So which one is the better one to get?

I like how you stereotype all "white boys." Even though I can afford "real **** cuhzz" I would rather spend less on something like a wing that is a replica since it would look nearly identical especially when painted. If you can't understand that, I would suggest keeping your comments to yourself.

OP - I don't know the answer to that question, but in my past experience (With my replica CTR lip) it looks very similar but mounts differently, in that case the lip has a little extra material and makes it look slightly different and if not paint matched you can tell its a replica (and even with some paint matched ones). I would suggest posting a link to the eBay link.

Spend more for the OEM manufactured wing instead of something that is replicated as cheaply as possible. I have learned over the years to not skimp on parts anymore. At some point buying a cheap part will bite you in the ***.

It all comes down to the fact that it's your car though. If you sleep better at night knowing you saved a few hundred bucks and sacrificed quality then go for it...

if its performance id say go with the real thing, it being a wing and ud be saving $200-$300 id say definitely go with the replica!

I have both and here are my 2 cents.

EBAY Wing - quality is a little off, on the baseplate there isnt a little hump. Comes with/without brake light.

JDM Wing - Good fit but most of them needs to be repainted.

It just depends on what you want to do. If you are looking to save money then get the replica but if you want JDM then get the original. I bought a replica and soon after i bought a real one. If you want a replica let me know, i have one laying around still new, just wanted the JDM one.

I say an ebay one. :D Not much differents in appearance between the two, just fitment and quality of the spoiler/base. Just my .02.

On the real CTR wing bases there's a place for a retaining clip at the leading edge. That helps keep the base down so it doesn't bind against the roof when you open the hatch. eBay ones without this will have a raised center section that catches. Detrimental? No. Annoying? Yes.

Add to that the questionable angle they're set at and eBay ones usually look hokey.

How about supporting business that do their own R&D and take the time to put a quality product on the market instead of people that can't be bothered to do anything but rip off other peoples products?

what are you talking about? JDM is OEM. They arent putting quality parts on the market. It was just made for their cars... And your not supporting anyone but the kids in japan who strip JDM cars for parts.

Just get the ebay one and save the $. it might be a little bit different but you should be able to live with it for 1/4th the price lol.
