JDM EK HID 10K install for 96 up Honda Civic wid Pictures.
JDM EK HID 10K install for 96 up Honda Civic wid Pictures.
10,000 K = purple/blue/violet hue
[already done and installed 12/23/2006]
1. Stock bulb in stock housing.
2. HID kit. 10K.
3. HID kit bulb type: H4 = 9003.
4. HID bulb temperature/color.
5. Bulb and Ballast.
6. Ballast Specifications.
7. Driver's side ballast mount.
8. Driver's side OEM bulb disconnect.
9. Removal of OEM bulb from headlight housing.
10. 10K HID bulb w/casper shield.
11. Installation/mounting of HID bulb.
12. Installation/mounting of HID ballast.
13. Feed wiring through rubber seal.
14. Passenger side ballast mounted.
15. Passenger side OEM bulb removal.
16. Passenger side HID isnstallaion/mount.
17. Fuse upgrade from 10A to 15A.
18. Fuse Diagram found under dash on driver's side.
19. Installed new fuses, upgraded from 10a to 15a.
20. Wire configuration of HID wiring to OEM Headlight wire harness. (Facing connector; TOP is positive wire [RED] and BOTTOM RIGHT is ground wire [black].
21. Headlight beamed on grage door. [Beams on rear bumper and bottom half of license plate of car in front]
22. View 1 of HID on street.
23. View 2 of HID on street.

What was the purpose of this thread? You showed a picture of your headlight, and a picture of the HID kit. Everyone here has seen a Civic headlight, and HID kits have pictures on ebay.

You need to park in front of a large concrete structure at night from about 50 feet. See what the cutoff looks like. That shot close to the garage doesn't tell much, and honestly the shots in the street look like they are sending light all over the place.
