i have a 96 coupe and i was wondering if i could easily swap a 92-95 dohc zc engine into my civic. I was also wondering how this motor handles under boost because i have a turbo set up ready to put on. ANY info is appreciated.

hey man i have a 92-95 jdm zc in my car right now.. running hard revs out to 7500 without a problem with the right ecu.. im about to boost it as we speak but im sure they handle great many people have had sucess... (homemadeturbo and others... slap a d series kit and be on your way!!)

You're going to have to do an OBD conversion, and I don't know what mounts you would use. Other than that, it should bolt up fairly painlessly. I don't think that it will handle a ton of boost in stock trim. I bet if you search, you can find what kind of c/r and boost handling you'll be looking at.

ull handle 10 psi no problem and even up to get a nice ball bearing turbo like apexi ihi and ull be straight... ill post number right after my install... also that is obd 1 so your straight...

yea... i already have my car running obd1 so thats not a prblem. Also..... would i have to get custom motor mounts, or will everything swap stright up?

its a straight swap but the axles/ intershaft are crazy.. have to hybrid them... i for get what we had to do with mine but its a mix of older integra and something else... reserach it... mounts drop right in though... make sure u change ecu though.. thing is high reving stock ull love it... who need vtec!
