Jdm d15b swap obd2 problems need help with staying in vtec...
I have put a jdm d15b motor into my 97 civic ex..i have a problem with staying in vtec no matter how i shift or where..its not a driver error...the d15b came with two vtec solenoids and the manny with the egr and such...i converted mannys back to the y8 manifold and have converted the two vtec solenoids into one which i took off my d16y8...so now my d15b has one solenoid and the y8 manny on it...can anyone tell me my problem?maybe change computers?does it have something to do with the solenoid?or maybe should i get a vtec controller to set vtec earlier...please no stup[is feedback or ppl i need help not bulls**t...if anyone noes my problem plz help...

thats a 3 stage vtec motor.. you might want to get a vtec control on one and let the ecu do the other

fire one at 2800 other at 5600..
what ecu are you using?
are you get s VTP sensor error?
