Default jdm d15b header question, searched

does anyone know if the stock header off of a jdm d15b is similiar to the header off of the d16y8 or is it the same as a z6? i am asking because i am looking to buy an aftermarket header, but if it is similiar to a y8 header then i guess i would reconsider purchasing since the y8 header has the best design amongst all d-series motors. kinda like the jdm itr header. lol i know this is honda-tech but try to refrain from "it's a d-series, why would you spend money on it?" to each his own.

well i do know that it's definitely a lot bigger, and better designed than the stock one for the D15B7. when i had my D15B installed, the guy at the shop made a point to show me the D15B header, and damn that thing is huge compared to my old one!

i'd guess it would be like the z6's manifold since the heads are almost identical. i'd look for a 00 y8 exhaust manifold as you mentioned.

i can just about bet that my stock setup will flow just as good as dc sports 421......actually i felt power loss from my stock to the dc... i have a twin cam zc top manifold.. its freakin huge compared to the y8 one and i have the 99 ex downpipe...

but im about to get some 4-1's probably from smsp something that actually flows good.. car legal **** like dc sports is restrictive but its legal but if you dont drive like a dum *** then you wouldnt have a problem
