have someone turn the key to on and hold the clutch down, while u take a wire from the bat to the stater signal. See if that works, sounds like no spark from somewhere, check bat, grounds and possible shorts.

the dizzy should be fine...
yeah make sure you have all your grounds there and tight....the 4 wire ground at the thermostat housing will cause exactly what you are talking about your car doing.

Re: (jdmsiR20)
this is the diagram and fuse that keeps blowing.. narrowed it down to this... also, we got a little bit of fuel, and we got spark... so why does this fuse keep blowing?

Re: (jdmsiR20)
This fuse provides constant battery power to the ecu when the key is turned off. If you are blowing this fuse you have a short between the fuse and the ecu. Im not at work right now to check a schematic but you can call me there tues through saturday and I can tell you what pin that feeds on the ecu....Paul 818-763-8245

Re: (JCimport)
Yeah also check your main relay. If your main relay is bad it will sometimes blow your ECU backup fuse. Happened to me and I couldn't figure it out for 2 days.
Also make sure your fireing order is good and that dizzy is good. I've seen too many people try to modify a dizzy and it totally mess up.
Also make sure fuel is getting to the rail. Take off the return line off the FPR or FR and crank the car. Fuel should be coming out of it.
If all else fails-You have just blown up 2 ECUs. Cuz you said both won't work. I blew up a LS ECU, to this day I don't know how and why. But I put another one in and she fired right up. Oh that was a good feeling.
