i plugged it in and stuff the basic stuff works pretty much and the fan works. the hot and cold works because i don't have ac and the hot and cold just pretty much controls the radiator circulator

Re: (Slammed92hbonN20)
most of what i read says that you just swap out the face to get the amber part....but that the harness's are different but i wouldn't know cause i haven't gotten mine yet

Re: (meccA's eg6)
its not plug and play....JDM climate control has a temp scale in celcius, you set it to a certain temp and it will keep your car at that temp....usdm has the hot/cold blue/red line...
if you mean plug and play like it will install right, yes it will fit in there...it wont work properly though...if you dont have a/c (like alot of ppl here) it won't be much of a problem

yeah i don't have ac so it just controls the heater core flow. everything else plugs right in. no extra harness plugs or anything

OK The JDM climate control for the EG6-EG9 are electronicly controlled and have several sensors inside and outside. The hot and cold are electronic (where the US is cable). The Best thing to do is change the face plate of the JDM one with the chassis of the US one.
IT is NOT plug and play!!!!

The JDM climate control IS plug and play in an EG.. That is the car it was removed from..
Now.. in an EH.. that is a different story..

yeah it fits right in. everyone thinks that when you say jdm climate control. that it is like a prelude or accord where it has a digital display for everything

are you saying that faceplate fits in? it does. now do u have the ENTIRE AUTO CLIMATE CONTROL system in there? like the accord and prelude AUTO CLIMATE CONTROL, the system monitors the interior temperature and sets the climate control settings (fan speed, direction ducts, and temp) automatically.

Re: jdm climate control in a eg? (dantastic)
Jdm eg6 climate control will not work on US eg. I was going to buy one until I realized that I needed a bunch of wires and then a weird disc shaped thingy.

Yea, the jdm climate control won't work in the usdm eg because the usdm climate control is all mechinical and the jdm one is all electric. you can however change the face for the look.

Re: jdm climate control in a eg? (1992HB)
This is stupid! IT DOES NOT FIT THE USDM OR EVEN THE LOWER MODEL JDM CARS!!! It is NOT digital but it is all electric! It does physically fit the car, but it will NOT plug and play! It hooks up in the same way as the digital ones but has no display! I have swapped out the faces several time! The only way you could do this is with a electronicly controlled heater core, dash harness and all climate control sensors for a LHD!!!
Don't reply if you don't know! That is how you cost people time and money!!!

Re: jdm climate control in a eg? (jdmitr)
i would have to agree with jdmitr, the jdm eg climate control does phsically fit in the dash, but DOES NOT WORK (because its electric, and ours are manual) on u.s. 92-95 civics. if you dont believe it, go ahead and waste your time trying!
