i got a 99 civic dx which when i bought was auto. i did the 5 speed swap still runnin the auto gauge cluster, i swapped out my d16y7 motor for a built b16, and i really wanted to get rid of the dx auto cluster.
so i bought a jdm civic type r gauge cluster.
i had problems putting it in, not the fitment but more along the lines of the speedometer and tachometer not working.
the dx cluster didnt have a tach on it, but the speedometer should be working right?
i dunno, if anyone did this or something similar please let me know.
i thought it was gonna be plug and play, but i guess its not since my old cluster is a 99 dx auto and the new one is a 99 JDM CTR manual.
