JDM B18C Swap and AC - When Idle or uphill car dies
Okay, so I have a JDM B18C swap and got the AC working finally. But yesterday I noticed that I was stopped on a stop light and I can't accelerate.. I didn't notice my car turned off since my stereo was loud.. So now I turned the AC off and got to a few more stop light and my car didn't die... Now I turned the AC on again, I was on uphill and I had to stop to yield when I stopped the car died again.. And I downshifted from 3-2... Any advise ?

seems as though your AC be sucking power yo.
check resistance in teh power to it. might be grabbing too much power.
get bigger better grounds. extra grounds. how healthy is your alt and battery?

Alternator is kinda old.. Battery is new

have your alt checked at autozone or any parts shop free.
did you hard wire your ac in? or use oem wires and relays?
ron@ht has a schematic and how to. he should jump in or contact him for specifics
(the guy is a genious)

I'll have autozone check it later then.. I didnt fix my AC lol Honda did.. Is that his username ? "Ron" ?

New update.... This happens only on a hot day... Early morning and late nights are fine.... Any suggestions ?

i had a similar issue, car was fine with a/c off but started sluggish with it on.
new standard motor ignition coil solved it .
