Get EVERYTHING needed to pass that comes with the USDM motor, and put it on that one. If it meets all the requirements, then they will BAR it.
Remember when you're finally trying to get it passed, do not stick with the same guy if he just "hands down" says he can't do it. If he can't, expletive him, go to another one. My bud had a CRX, and BARred the thing with an LS w/a Type R tranny in it. He took it to several refs and a few gave him ****, so he left their asses in the dust, fixed what they said needed fixing, and got it BARred a few weeks after... Pretty fast too, chirped all the way through fourth
