when going to the dealer...what car is the motor off of?....ie: oil filter,cap rotor, plugs, etc....
am i supose to get um off a 95 delsol dohc vtec?

Yeah 94-95 Del Sol DOHC VTEC parts should work. I just got an axle seal for a Del Sol VTEC for my B16. 99-00 Si parts should work too but might be more expensive.

And as for the oil filter, I think all Hondas, with the exception of the Insight and maybe the Oddyssey, use the same filter.

all oil filters are the same and the parts from a dels sol should fit or just tell them that you ahve a 2nd gen b16a jdm spec and they should know what you need

Actually they don't. Soem of the JDM motors come over here with the smaller oil filters like the ones on the brand new 2001 Civics. More than likely though you can just get a normal "POH" oil filter made for the 1988-2000 Civics and it should be fine. "POH" are the 3 middle letters in the part number for the filters.
