jdm b16, why 4-1 header

Default jdm b16, why 4-1 header

ive searched around and most people said that theyd go for a 4-1 header. doesnt the 4-1 headers improve top end and the 4-2-1 improve midrange? if so the b16 lacks low and midrange power and excels in top end...

so wouldnt you choose 4-2-1 to make up for the power in the lower rpms? wouldnt a 4-2-1 give you more torque too?

ok one lesson to learn real quick u cannot say b16 an torqe in the same sentance or cross reference them with each other. it just wont happen. i got a b16 and torqe just isnt happening here. but the 4-1 design is awesome. ive had a 4-2-1 and JDM DC 4-1 now i have a AN-R 4-1 and i will take a 4-1 header on a b16 any day of the week

The B16 isn't going to make much torque no matter what bolt on's you buy for it. So by going with a 4-1, you make more power in the higher rpm, which is where the B16 shines.
