Default JDM B16 Help!!!!!!!!!!

I just swapped in a jdm obd1 b16 & i was wondering if anybody new why the jdm motors have no vtec pressure sensor like the usdm models?

Is there some significant reason why the jdm motors dont use a vtec pressure sensor?
