Default JDM 4.78 FD fit on a Quaiffe in a b16 tranny?

the tranny is a 99-00 Si tranny with a Quaiffe LSD.

is the JDM 4.7 FD a bolt on or do I have to have the ITR LSD as well?

the Quaife ATB is too small for the 4.7

what is ATB?

so there is no option for a 99-00 Si tranny to upgrade the final drive?

Use the 4.785 final drive or the 4.4 from an ITR/GS-R/CTR and then you can use the Quaife meant for the ITR

how is the Quaife ATB (Automatic Torque Biasing) differential too small for a 4.785 FD? it uses the same speed gear the stock Si 4.400 FD.....the 4.785 or 4.929 should work fine....Just be careful with the speed gear.....when you get the 4.785 you should recieve a counter shaft and FD gear to install on the Quaife

If this Quaife is for a B16A of B18B then it will not bolt to a factory Honda 4.785 final drive. You will need a Quaife for B18C and B16B for it to fit.
