JR supercharging the zzz6
hey guys, I'm considering buying a JR superchager for my z6, and I was wondering what is needed to do the upgrade to get 8psi as compared to the base 5psi. Is it just a pulley, or are there other things involved to do the upgrade? I'm just trying to get some more power out of my sohc because I dont have the money or time to do a turbo or a swap. Thanks for the advice.

probably a Boost TIming Master atleast. JR sells a Boost upgrade kit that includes a BTM, Plugs , Pulley, and thermostat i think. I have all of it except the pulley. They recommend a bigger fuel pump too but don't include it in the kit. It is a walbro 190 i have it too. I didn't upgrade the pulley because the added heat on the supercharger rotors fatigues the teflon and could cause it to crack.

somebody has one for sale on ebay and it says it comes with 6 and 11 psi pulleys, but you cant just swap out the pulleys and run higher boost right? heres the link
