which injectors, distributor have you used?
sohc zc or DOHC zc?

are all the wires, harness clipped in, are you getting fuel? spark? are the spark plugs wires in the right way? is the motor turn even?

Just to let you know in case you don't. The 92-95 Hatch didn't come with a ZC and it is Illegal to put an older motor into a newer car. Meaning if your car is say a 92 it is illegal to put a 91 model motor in it. Just thought you might want to know that. Why would you put a ZC motor in the car anyway? The ZC only has 130hp. Where as the SOHC VTEC has 127. And the SOHC VTEC has more potential and there is a lot more availability of parts and it is a straight forward swap.

Actually the OBD1 ZC made 135hp/111tq,due to a cam change, they are very rare, they were mated to a LSD tranny for the del sols. It would be cool to have one......its a poser.....the D that looks like a B.

actually ZC DOHC OBDI came only in 92 on the Civic Si 25th anniversary. LSD on it was optional and it was rated at 130ps(127hp) it uses halfshaft (teg axles) and gearing just like the previous models.
another ZC DOHC OBDI was found in 4wd wagons and Civics for 92-5, also rated at 130ps. but trannys were 4wd only
135ps ZC DOHC was found only on the 84-5 Civics later due to some cahnges it was downgraded and lowered to 125 and 130ps

opt LSD was found on 92-5 VTi d15b sohc vtec (130ps rating), how do i know? becuase I had 10 of those trannies and currently have one on my new project

DOHC ZC is a motor with most problem I have ever seen, it gets bad gas mileage and breaks down more often then any other honda motor with exception of the 5 cyl Vigor possibly

Is the ZC OBD-1 or OBD-0? The reason I ask is that the dizzys will not change over. Also, you do not need to use the cam sensor. That is only needed if you are putting it in a OBD-0 car....the OBD-1 Dizzy has the cam sensor inside it....

So to make a OBD-0 ZC work in a OBD-1 car....
1. get a OBD-1 Dizzy(grey plugs)
2. remove cam sensor
3. remove resistor box
4. buy a OBD-1 ZC next time

That is the same info I found...OBD-1 ZC = 135Hp(not 130HP!)..not sure about the torque. There used to be a guy on eBay that had them for sale...I think he was out of Colorado? Anyway, I have a OBD-1 ZC in my 90 REX and that thing halls ***. It keeps up with a few V/8 mustangs in my area. Plus I get 30+ MPG!
