well a few weeks ago i decided to go turbo with my 92 civic hb b16. now im new to turboing so take it easy on me...here some pics of my progress so far.. ran into a problem with the "twisted ram" manifold . the mani looks great, but fitment is aweful. i will be updating here and there as long as i can get this done. turbo is .50 a/r .60 a/r hotside 5bolt dp

heres some of the parts i will be upgrading prior to the complete turbo install..

heres the shot of mani flange that is way to close to the block...

mani looks great but....

fitment sucks..

Is that an eBay turbo kit? If so, make sure you use an oil regulator on the turbo. It will interesting to see how this works out.

Will the turbo fit the other way? ie. intake on the left side of the car.

Ditch the ebay turbocharger.

And if the manifold is a no-name brand ditch it too.

Sell both to some noob who doesn't know anything...

missing link is what i needed so i dont throw a cel when the map sees boost right?
and for fmu i was going to tune it with crome pro and use the ostrich to change the tune on the fly. im i missing something?

You don't need the m-link with chrome.Pick up a three bar map sensor. The 370's are to small. You will max them out real quick.

Instead of getting tuned, couldnt you use the blox FMU, and that other piece you have so you dont throw a CEL?

That other piece is called a missing link that tricks the map into seeing no boost basically. If he really wanted to, he could use the missing link and FMU, but if you search it, you will see horror stories. But you also see they are "ok" for mild setups. It doesn't make sense to use it when you can pay a little extra, and have today's tuning abilities to keep your engine alive

well little update... got the car to run and it runs good... no cels and idles great ,i used a conservative base tune and according to my wb fuel is 14.1-14.7 at idle..and under boost about 11.8-12.5 . but i have a prob.. seems the spring in my wg must be a 12.0-12.5 spring because when i did build boost it peaked at this psi. now that was only for a sec cause didnt want to hurt anything. i ordered a 7 psi spring to hopefully solve this prob. but other than im pretty happy with this setup so far... will be tuning more as soon as i recieve the new spring ..... will update then with more newss . and one more thing.. my car has a really quiet exhaust note now?? i love it... any suggestion will be taken..
