Default it's all about the money

i was just thinking of how expensive this car stuff really gets.
in my case:

1996 ej hatch $1700
o2 sensors X 2 = $130
raceland coilovers $315
rear cargo cover $40 (i think, can remember, ebayed a few years ago)
f + r lips + grill + fogs (2 sets now ebay crap) = $70 (i think, ive had a few years)
set of tires = $215 205/50/15(bought for my crx in 2009 and used until last year
pair 180/55/15 tires = $130 including a 3rd because 1 blew out 3 hours later the same day and the f@g wouldnt replace but discounted one
head gasket and head machine shop prep = $110
pair of tires 175/55/15 = $50 used, nice fit, the electric car continentals
wicked tuning uca = $110
ebay strut bar set = $40 (i think, a few years ago)
extended top hats = $100
15 x 8.5 wheels = $240 THANK YOU EBAY
195/50/15 tires set = $220
honda s2k oem springs = $0 FREEBIE (yes, they fit on the racelands and you keep a linear spring)
outter tie rod = $25
alignment = $40
tune up stuff = $100
depo headlights = $50 (i think, 1 year old now)
hids 1320performance = $50
normal headlight bulbs = $35
t.r style wing from 1320 (fit was crap) = $70

*parts are in no particular order*
getting a car needing a little bit of work can quickly out-cost one not needing work. now i need to replace the transmission $550 local rebuilt. i can write off everything on taxes but i bought my pontiac vibe for $3,300 and in it under $4,000 in the past year including an in-dash dvd, new front tires due to blow out last month, new wipers, new floor mats, spark plugs.. the usual stuff.

i think i should've just kept my crx and bought another car instead of the ej a few years ago...

eh.. oh well

So what's the point of this thread ?. No tech go to GDD if you want to rant about a "bad buy" owning a car costs money.....

Gotta quote this in case it gets altered.
Looks like somebody with champagne tastes and Kool-aid money, that has been trying to look like they're ballin.

Headlight bulbs?
Used tires?
Disgracelands with S2K springs?
