Only 6 Speeds (in 4cyl honda motors) are the K series; but all D, B, H, F, and lower versions of the K are 5spd.

You find the 6spd in the K20 from the RSX tpye s, and the Europe/UK/Japanesse Civic Type R's (EP3) and also in the new 2006+ Civic SI's. I beleive the TSX's here in the US are the 6spd K series, but im not 100% clear on that, they may be V6's, like the 6cyl Accords in manuel, someone will have to clarify that.

i dunno if it works on itr transmissons but look through the differaential where the axels mount typically if you see a bar going through one side to the other it is NOT a limted slip diff, also there is a stamping on it,

usally that washes of or some shady shops actually stamp it LSD

????? all type r's DO HAVE lsd...

and yes you can tell by not tacking off the tranny

basicaly if you can look straight threw the hole where the axles mount then it has lsd, if there is a bar restricting your view threw the hole then its not lsd
