ITR swap in EG....members sign in!
Ok so here is the problem.
93cx with 96 spec jdm itr motor w/ stock 4-2-1 header and 2.5inch collector
The exhaust I have : apexi world sport for 92-95 civic hb.
What Cat do i use? NO i will not run a test pipe, i want a Cat.
I believe the worldsport exhaust is not 2.5 inch also. So the car has to fit 2.5inch on one side, and 2.25inch?? on the other side.
HELP! my car wont run without it... pic of my car/swap :

custom cat at the muffler shop. you will need a 2.5 flange and o-ring gasket. go to jdmhondaparts for the 2.5 flange. its in the exhaust section...
make sure both sides of the cat are flanged, in case you change your mind about the test pipe.
BTW whats up with the ghetto cable bracket....

look at the bracket. you are using the wrong cable. get a 94 + up integra LS one and put the bracket back where it belongs/

Yeah custom cat with a 2.5'' flange on it to mate with the O.E A-pipe.
As far as the throttle cable and bracket goes, order one for any Del Sol VTEC of 94-01 Integra LS ot 97,98 or 00-01 ITR.
Also ask fot the correct bracket for the ITR as well as it is actually cheaper than the LS version. It will be stamped "P73" on it.

JDM shift linkage is goldish/unfinished looking from the factory.

Yes a muffler shop should have everything. That's where I got my cat done. But shop around, because there are some really expensive places. Sometimes it's cheaper to get a cat from summit, and just have them weld it in place.

My cable bracket is rigged like that too. I've never had a problem out of it though.. and I plan on keeping it since it works just fine. Nice swap.. it's really clean!
For my exhaust I just used a JDM ITR cat and had a flange welded onto my midpipe for it. It's much easier than a custom cat..

its a jdm motor, they only stamp numbers as in b16a2. a3. b18c5. 6 in the us and europe
So the GSR and ITR have the same stamp, but there is alot that tell them apart... but i dont wanna get into it

Right, the Jspec motors don't have the 5 at the end like the states.

Re: ITR swap in EG....members sign in! (Jawad)
Congrats on the swap Jawad . Personally, I'd rather have the muffler shop use a 2.5 flange in, and a 2.25 flange out, someone posted to have the cat welded in, but I'd rather have the flexibility to unbolt it, in case you went with a different cat back, or needed to make changes/adjustments to your set up. I recently picked up a cat from SMSP, told him what it was for, and he sent it to me with the flanges already welded up.

Re: ITR swap in EG....members sign in! (Jawad)
cool swap, i see you are getting the parts for the exhaust, any muffler shop should be able to make a nice fitting cat in about 20 min.
for the throttle cable get the correct bracket, your throttle response will be better and you wont be putting extra stress on your cable like you are right now, trust me they can break.
PS i have gold shift linkage too JDM
