ITR MC & BB question
I have searched H-T for some good info but not really finding the info I'm looking for. I was just wondering if I can use an ITR 1" MC and BB with a 40/40 prop valve in my CX EG to accomodate my itr 5 lug conversion even though my car is non abs or will I have to find a 15/16" MC and BB from a GSR non abs to fit my car. Thanks for any help and sorry if this is a noob question/thread.

Re: ITR MC & BB question
The ITR MC/BB will work along with the 40/40 or the Si hatchback prop valve as well.
I'm using a 15/16 MC/BB and it works great on my Si hatch.

yes, you can. i'm also running the 5-lug setup on my EG which never had ABS. that's why you may need the prop-valve as well since your EG has drums in the rears originally.

Re: ITR MC & BB question
So as long as I have the 40/40 prop valve I can use the ITR 1" MC and BB? Sweet, thanks for the info. Is there any flaring of lines or any kind of prep I need to do or do they all just fit? I've read that some bending of the lines is required am I correct?

Re: ITR MC & BB question
as long as you get the '98+ JDM ITR MC, all you'll have to do is bend one of the lines a bit (both EG lines are closer to the driver fender side, wherease one of the ITR ones is facing the passenger side).
the lines will also bolt rite up with the JDM ITR MC (both use 10mm flare nuts). becareful bending the hardline and make sure you don't kink it. you may want to be a pipe bending tool for this (cheap tool).

Re: ITR MC & BB question
Alright, thanks a lot Mashimaro. Another quick question: Can jdm and usdm MC and BB mix and match or no? I'm going to assume they can't but just want to make sure.

Re: ITR MC & BB question
i can't really answer that for you as i don't know. but i would assume they're the same for fit (as long as the mounting bolts for both JDM and USDM are at 3 and 9 o'clock).
