Default ITR manifold

I bought an P73 ITR intake manifold and I just red an article that said installing an ITR manifold on to a B16 motor would actually show no gain in power but lose power instead..have any of you have this manifold in your B16 is this true?

You wont actually lose any power. You may have to richen up the fuel mix a little bit to get the most out of it, but even untuned, you should still gain some power.

What other stuff do you have done to the B16A?

If you used an ITR ECU, you'd see some decent gains.

p72 ecu on b16a engine.i dont think it will run right even with itr cams, cause p72 ecu is for gsr and it has bigger displacement and air/fuel ratio and map is different than b16a.i also have itr manifold on my b16a, but i have it bored for a 68mm TB and also i installed/upgrade all the internals and eveything at the same time. but itr intake manifold alone dose make differences, air flows better.
