ITR Manifold = Idle Problems....
I just swapped in a jdm sir 2 b16a into a 93 del sol with an itr intake manifold on it. When I start the car, there is a loud whining noise coming from the throttle body and the valve on the back of the manifold, where the coolant passes through. Now I've checked all the hoses and the only one that I can't figure out what to do with is the larger vaccum nipple on the top of the plennum, right after the throttle body, so I just put a bolt in it to block it off. But the engine will idle from 1250-1300, and bounce back and forth. When I tried to turn the throttle on the throttle body, it will rev high, even with a slight turn. Its like the engine is running rich. and not getting enough air.
If anyone has any ideas or experience with this, Id appreciate the help. Also, if anyone knows where to find a wiring diagram for a b16a I'd like to see it just for reference, Thanks guys, late.

nice name... checkout http://www.darksol.com
as for your prob. I would go with the usual- check for vac leaks, check your TPS voltage, etc. etc; the manifold swap should be pretty straight forward on that car, no prbs that I can recall.

Im wondering what the nipple on top of the plenum after the tb is ran to? I mean, on the stock p30 intake man, that nipple isnt there. Does it go to a purge solnoid or the charcoal canister?
Oh yeah, how do I check the tps voltage? Im kind of a n00b to this stuff.

Does the Evap Purge Solenoid need to be hooked up? And which wire is supposed to be plugged into the IACV? Blu/yell-Yell/Blk or Yell/Blk- Red?
I ran the diagnostic check and came up with code 36...wtf is that?? Thanks again fellas, late.

Alright, switched out the ITR manifold today for the p30 IM that came with the motor, and a different IACV, and still get the same loud whine, and erratic rpm +/- 1500. Even taped off the IACV and FITV, with no change. I mean even after those nuts were turned as tight as they'll go that whining is still there.
Switched out and reset the p30 ecu, and the check engine light will flash 14(IACV) and 36(???). Talk about frustrating.
