ITR Lower Control Arms on a 00 Civic Si?
Is it possible to have ITR LCAs on a 00 civic si so that ITR coilovers can be used on the Si? I have a friend with ITR coilovers that he is selling for a really good deal and was hoping I can get them from him... I have heard that it wont work because the LCA's are too short but I have also heard that you can make them work to fit the car? Which is the right answer? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it is, but just to be safe (and before any one else tells you) search for it. I'm sure it's been covered somewhere before.

i know for sure they will work but i also know for sure they are not a direct bolt in replacement. i know not much else because someone here has done it but i have failed to find him again when i was about to do the itr suspension on my car.

ok... ive found some archived posts saying specifically that it will definitely not fit but some say it will... has anyone done this yet so I can make sure that if I buy these complete ITR coilover suspensions that I can make them work with my car. Thanks again!

Are you talking about the front lca's or the rear???
The ITR rear lca will physically bolt onto the Civic subframe, BUT the ITR's lca are shorter than the civic's. That means you'll have way too much positive camber on your car, so in short, don't do it.
I believe that the ITR's front lca's are the same as the gsr, which means they're cast, so in essence, the Civic SI's are stronger since they are boxed/stamped steel.
stick to what you have.
