ITR intake manifold or Spoon header?
Which one will gain more hp?
a Spoon header on my B16A or a ITR intake Manifold?
Got a super good deal on the Spoon header, but i was also serving on the http://www.jdmhondaparts.com and saw their ITR intake manifold selling for pretty cheap price.
Which one would u pick?
And is http://www.jdmhondapart.com is a reliable place? like can u trust it?

Re: ITR intake manifold or Spoon header? (EG Hatch)
depends what you have on the car already, if you have an exhaust and a CAI, a header would be better than an intake manifold for now. Might not be a dramatic increase, but it's a basic set up that could give you a few more numbers.

I have always heard that the intake manifold wont gain you much unless you have something more than boltons, FI or cams etc.

If you just have a few bolt ons, you'll get more gains from the header, than the intake manifold.

the Spoon header
like CHEAP!
haha
perfect concidition
My friend is selling it to me. But i won't tell out how much. As for modification, my engine have all the internal done already. But not much bolt on stuff.

funk that spoon header, get a dc jdm 4-1.
I have a spoon too, so trust me, unless you have major headwork and bigtime cams, dotn even bother with anything other than the DC JDM 4-1, and if you so choose the DC, you will be able to also afford the ITR intake manifold AND a Hondata temperature isolating heat resistant intake manifold gasket too...

Yes u are right, but my car have all the Port and Polish done also using high compression pistiones already. I m only using ITR cams but done up with Crower titiaum retainer and valve springs also type R valves
so in this case, would it be better using Spoon header or DC JDM?

screw spoon the gains are simliar to the DC unit, fit and finish is pretty good. and indeed with DC + intake you'll make more power then with just spoon.
