ITR front Strut bar on 97 civic?
Would the ITR front strut bar be a worth while upgrade for my 97 civic? Will it bolt up without modification?

Look up some pictures of ITR engine bays... see if you have the neccessary bolts (2 of them 3 inches or so from each strut mount in the engine bay). From what i have seen in the usdm market, only the si comes with the bolts (only because it comes with a strut bar).
You could also get an aftermarket type bar that bolts up to the struts themselves (what i plan to do). Personally, i think the passwordjdm bars are the hotness!

greatly improve and greatly change. Will a civic si rear swaybar be a good compromise on my 97 ex?

Since you have an EX, you already have a 22mm front sway bar. To compensate, I would get at least a 13mm Si rear sway bar to balance everything out.
If you want to go all out and get the biggest OEM sway bar combo, invest in Si front 26mm sway bar (you will need Si front LCAs and strut forks) and ITR rear 24mm sway bar with ASR subframe brace. Your car will handle like a dream in addition to springs/struts.
