ITR Exhaust on a D15B
ok i'm having sum conflicting opinions over in Aust regarding bolting on an ITR exhaust on a D15B
One hand one guy tells me the High flow of the ITR will improve breathability
On the other hand another guy tells me the High pressure relaese from the ITR would not suit my car and does not have any effect in the low or high RPM's
Ok we need to take into consideration i'll be reusing the ITR pipping, custom fitted plus a High flow cat.
Has the D15B already been optimised and no further mods are necessary? For those who suggest engine swap or Turbo, it has been considered. But not 2 realistic presently.
Thanks

Re: ITR Exhaust on a D15B (EG4)
defiantly can pick up few horses from good exhaust....I used to run a RSR GT II N1 60mm exhaust with a test pipe on my D15B SOHC VTEC, whenever I used a silencer, it would loose 4-6whp from it in vtec.
defiantly worth doing but don't expect night and day difference

Thanks for thr reply fellars. I don't really expect huge gains from bolting on the Itr. I suppose it looks better then the stock one, only worried that i would be losing HP rather than gaining if i was to bolt it on
