ITR cams in B16A2?
Can anyone point out the advantages and/or drawbacks.
Exactly what would be needed to perform the swap properly. The car is an EG9 ('92-'95) Honda Civic SIR with automatic transmission.
Thanks,
Colin.

Re: ITR cams in B16A2? (cdmg2001)
Take out old cams, put in new ones...thats it.
However, if you want to rev to 8500 like an ITR you will have to get an ITR valvetrain(ie: ITR valve springs), and get a reprogrammed ECU. Oh, ITR lost motion assembleys would be nice too.
Advantages, more midrange, and more top end. Auto's come with even weaker cams then a normal 5spd b16a would have.
Drawbacks? None?
