Default ITR Aem CAI into a Em1...any problems?

need some info guys. My little bro is ready to purchase a ITR AEM CAI for his EM1. Im sure fitment is going be okay, but just wanted to know if there were any major problems, and no he can't get a knock off ebay CAI with a k/n filter haha. Located in the central/northern CA so carb laws stick like white on rice. Thx

I don't see why there would be any problems. Same intake manifold.

EDIT: Why not just buy a b16 intake mani?

I'm assuming the ITR is bigger/better?

actually, the way it positions the intake is different, but it will still fit.

on the civic intake, it goes through the hole near the fender, while the type r goes to the side. i had a type r cai on my car when it was n/a
