I posted this in another thread about the ITBs.
I know they are not very "street friendly" due to their lack of bottom end, but WTF can you use as an air filter?

get some cheap velocity stacks off of ebay, they should help you a bit. Strech Pantyhose over them, or some fine mesh?

Looks good!... But lol at the IACV just hanging around, why not go with EMS or something, and please share which ecu you're running, no need to tease us by saying we won't believe.

Damn ive never seen a filter like that, seems like a better/safer way to run them instead of havin them totally open....how much does a set up like that cost?

Re: ITB's for those of you who don't venture into other forums!!! (B18C5_EK)
i helped a small amount on the install
it didn't take very long to get hte car running and chad did a little tuning on vafc and it ran fine
the bb line was installed through XXXXX(top seceret)
the vaccum lines for the map sensor are already located on teh throttle bodies from the factory(these are motorcycle TB's)
chad is prolly gonna ring my neck for telling you guys this but i had to
the iacv was just left hanging so it wouldn't throw a code

There is a few ways to do the vacuum. It seems he has done it through one of the original motorcycle injector ports. The alternative method is to run a vacuum canister such as is shown in the second setup.

Doesn't putting a canister thing like on the teg's setup kinda defeat the purpose of having the ITB's? I mean I thought they were there so you'd have as short of a path as possible to the head... I dunno, very sweet setup

This kind of itb set up was meant for the track, take it to a track, and use it to the full potential there. </TD></TR></TABLE>
do you even realize who you are talking to
this man just won 1st place in H1 last weekend
he knows what it is meant for and this car sees track use
i have been in it while it was on track and it is a very capable car
and chad is a really good driver
