Issues with replacing a CV axle on a 95 civic with a d15b7 swap
I bought this car about 2 years ago and it had a d15b7 swap with a manual trans. It's a coupe, nothing special. I pulled out the old CV axle on the passenger side and compared it to the new axle (old habits die hard), unfortunately the new axle was about 2 and a half inches shorter than the old axle. Checked all available auto part stores as well as online stores and they're all showing the same part number and length as the new axle. I measured both axles with the old axle compressed as much as possible. I doubt the new axle is supposed to be pulled outwards more than 2 inches just to even be mounted properly, it would break in less than a week. Advice or knowledge please?!
