Issues with a GSR swapped EM1.

So I recently bought a '00 EM1. It has a full GSR swap. It has been a very annoying project.

So the new issue it's having, that's kind of got me stumped, is:

Intermittently, it'll hit a lower fuel cut than 8200RPM. Usually 6800RPM, but sometimes 7200RPM. I'll be able to redline 1st-3rd, but then try it again, and it'll have every gear and neutral hit cut at 6800RPM (or 7200). Oil level good.

The things I've replaced since I bought the car:
Distributor Cap & Rotor
Plugs/Wires
Throttle Cable
Rad fan switch, and ECU coolant sensor.
TPS
Oil Pressure Switch Connector
VTEC Solenoid Filter
Fuel Filter

I have a new Oil Pressure Switch and a new MAP sensor I figured I'd try, just 'cause they're cheap.

Any other ideas?

Here is a video of what happens.

You posed in the EF section.

Also that seems incredibly slow. Makes me think you have a bad sensor or other mechanical issue. You need a scan tool to really dig in.

Yea, definitely thought I clicked EK, lmao. Hopefully a mod can move it.

It is slow here because the oil pressure switch connector was corroded and the wires broke off, so VTEC wasn't even engaging. It has a new connector now, VTEC works, it still does this.

My buddy pointed this out, maybe it's the issue: Is the P2t Si ECU good for a GSR swap? The P2t is for a 2000 EM1 (the car), the engine is out of a '99 GSR. Both OBD2.

Tune is probably way off. Hard to say exactly what is happening without a scan tool.

I've only been able to find a few forum threads of people using stock P2t ECUs with GSR swaps. But the ones I did find say that as long as both are OBD2 (which they are), it should be fine since the B16 and B18 are so similar.

No, not even close. Will it run? Yes.

GSR had features the B16 did not have like variable intake runners. GSR is going to make a lot more torque and that requires more fuel.

The P2T PCM is not going to have that tune loaded. It might be able to compensate on fueling a little bit but timing is going to be off and VTEC window. Might even be pulling timing due to knock. You need either a GSR ECU or a way to tune what you have.

B18C1 swapped EM1 having some issues.

Accidentally made the other thread in the EF section cause I wasn't paying attention. Sorry mods >.<

Has the stock EM1 P2t ECU, which I've read should be fine for a GSR swap, but maybe not?

Any other ideas?

Here's a video of what it does:

Unless someone put a non P2t ECU inside of a P2t case yes, lol.

You missed a whole conversion about this in the thread in the wrong section of the forum.

Didn't miss much, he's running a p2t on a gsr. your CEL works? comes on and off when you key on?

They have the bulb pulled, but the only codes in there are for the two 02 sensors cause the assholes cut the wires, and a crank sensor.

Geez... fix the codes and then lets see if you can run the tach to 8200. Replace the bulb in the cluster too. The CKF sensor is likely your problem.

Post the actual codes.
