Default issues during rear disc conversion

maybe you honda-tech guys can give me some assistance, i was doing a rear disc conversion on my 94 ex coupe and the "dog bone" (for lack of correct name) that connects the front of the trailing arm to the frame of the car had the head of the bolt snap off an that to my knowledge is for alignment adjustment on the rear could i weld whats left of that bolt to the frame of the car or will it cause crazy alignment issues???

i have tried to drill it with no luck what so ever even with the expensive bits.. i left the drum "dog bones" on there vs putting the ones that were on the disc conversion (92-95 4dr ex) if it matters what its from simply because i had broke one side and i didnt wanna risk the other if i didnt have to... please help that issue, exhaust and a front alignment are all thats keeping it from driving
