Default issues with a 93 del sol

So Im working on a friends car,For some reason it has no spark and the fuel pump wont come on...The car has a brand new distributor on it and a brand new fuel pump relay and pump...What could be the problem...Ive tried searching but have came up with no straightforward answers....

sounds like a main relay issue.

Out of curiousity pull the fuel pump acces cover and make sure your getting voltage to the pump and trace the wires back to the main relay. Its possible to have a break in your wiring some where. Sorry just thought of that.

the aem doesnt really need all the same grounds as the stock ecu needs check to make sure that the ground that goes to the thermostat housing is grounded good then check the ground that goes to the tranny. other than that i dont know what it could be..

DID IT ACTUALLY START with the ems or just turn on the pump
