Issue with only having highbeams after removing previous owners ricer lights
Alright when i purchased my car it was 100% stock with the exception of some eBay projectors. The first thing i did was get the oem lights back on but ever since i have only been able to get only high beams or only low beams!. The projector lights had two bulbs in each one and im assuming one for high and one for the lows. Now after installing my OEM headlights i haven't been unable to figure out the connection to get highs and lows! This is such a stupid question but it has been bothering me for a while and i am fed up with trying every combination possible and getting nowhere. If anyone knows it would be highly appreciated. Please state which colored wire with which connector( this is the passenger side headlight)
btw i searched and all my fuses are fine.

First thing I would do is unwrap that tape to find the stock wire colors. One wire should be black and test ground at all times. The other two wires will be for the high and low beams. This is were it gets kind of tricky. The high beams will test as ground when they are not on. So lets start by finding the wire color first.

i had the same problem with mine. turned out to be a fuse. the fuse didnt appear to be blown, but when i tested it with a fuse tester..it didnt test good.

all civic's with OEM headlights should all be using H4 bulbs.... as i looked at your connector.. it seems to me that it has been cut for the aftermarket headlights he had in there..... what you should do is take the tap off and u should be able to see 3 wires... and and from there on then play with the 3 that u need or go get a H4 connector from a part store and connect it with the 3... as i can see in your pix.. theres 4 wires there.. 1 of them r useless as H4 bulbs only has 3 outlet...
correct me if im wrong

^ alright well the only modification the OEM harness had was power and ground spliced in for the angel eyes but otherwise the 4 wires lead from pins directly from the OEM harness.
