I've heard of it, looks like a sweet deal and you can't even really see it (I think I saw the same show as JDMlifestyle). Sure it could've been a camera trick, but it's better than getting your paint all chipped up or your headlights cracked.

I wish I knew about it when I got my car brand new in 1996 but I didn't know such a product existed until 2002 when I saw it being promoted at the Los Angeles Auto Show. They even have a kit that can cover an entire Hummer H2. If you are buying a new car or are getting a new paint job, definately consider getting it. It is barely noticable (unless you have a black car). Anybody here know how long this product lasts before it turns yellow or starts bubbling?

i'm guessing you would have to take it off to wash your car? or would you ever need to wash it? just wipe off the plastic?

i did research -

NO u dont take if off to wax --- u just wax over it :: I also got a quote(Coastal Tinting, milford -ct) for it on my HB w/ custom bumper im lookin @ $600-800+ :::::: $300 is funny, i wishh it was $300!!!

im goin to try another place in CT & see if its any cheaper -- apparently in NYC they are chargin $1000+ for tha install... - tha guy told me 2.5hrs to do it.. i read a forum board post - some installer in COLorado. can do a Kia in 25mins... so that leads me to believe tha guy in Ct is tryin to jerk me around.

you forgot one brand....
Saran Wrap!

J/k.
It appears to work.
I've seen it on several vehicles.

That stuff looks like it would do a great deal to protect new paint. A friend of mine is getting his hatch painted, I got to tell him about this stuff.

tha standard bra suxs... rocks/dirt gets under it & scratches tha paint... tha paint will fade around it if left on too long..

i can see that u just dont get it...
Ist like tha diff between buyin crappy BSA rims(standard bra) & gettin Kinesis forged wheels(clear bra) --

when was tha last time u saw or even ever heard of BSA wheels on a lamborghini ::: can u see what it says on tha front bumper, near tha wheel..?..

-- You Didnt... cuz every1 knows they Suk, they make knock-offs....
Why would u buy a crappy bra when u know there is better product out there!!!?

~~~~~~
$850 isnt a big deal esp when u have a show car w/ over $10k in body work, paint, etc...
