Default intermittent starting problems

Thanks for the help so far but this thing has me stumped. Went to tow my car last night and it started right up. This is after picking my wife up from work and it just cranking and no start.

(main relay) location driver side, beside fuse box, behind dash panel...(close to your left foot area.. Now to test the MR you need for the no start again, quick way kick or bang on it to see car will start... if no try, checking spark and fuel pressure. if both to not work at the same time no strart it's the main relay.
dealer cost $50.00can... it happen to me on two honda last owned 91 & 93 civic...
also, if you have no start with fuel pressure its your complete Ignition Distributor need replacing rebuilt $250
or really can be only a bad ground cable from battery, bad positive cable to starter, bad starter coil, bang hard on coil with no start...check passenger ecu under the carpet for LED code flash... I hope this help you alot...

I had this type of problem w a 98 lx... would crank and crank did all of the above...was getting spark, fuel, fuses good and relays, ground was good turns out it was as simple as the distributor was on the crank upside down... ( meaning i had to crank the pin to do a 180 degree turn ) as soon as i did that started right up.... thought this might help especially if you did any thing to the dizzy cap or rotor
