Intermitten No-start problem - No fuel
Yesterday I went to start my 92 cx, and it would crank over fast, but not start. And today, it fired right up.. weird!
Motor is an H22a.
Pulled a plug, grounded it, confirmed spark
Has good compression
Timing belt is correct
I sprayed a hair bit of ether in the intake and it ran for a few seconds.. so it's def a fuel problem.
I'm not getting voltage to my pump... so its either a fuse or relay..
fuse isn't burnt..
I've ordered a new fuel pump relay, and i believe that's the problem.. must be stuck open.
Is this a common problem for these Hondas? I'm used to nissans and you know how certain cars are and they have their quirks lol
I made this thread for future search reference

Re: Intermitten No-start problem - No fuel
don't order the relay. look up under the dash near the hood release. remove the relay. Do you have a solder iron or a friend that can solder? use 2 small screwdrivers to pop the case off the main relay you will find a circut board with 2 relays on it and some other small parts turn it over resolder the solder joints on that board once done clean off any flux allow to dry pop the cover back on and reinstall. Your relay should now work and you just saved yourself a ton of cash.
Edit: here is a really good right up with locations and photos
